1. Mike Krzyzewski (Duke)

Career record: 1,043-321 (76.5%)
Record at Duke: 970-262 (78.7%)
NCAA Tournament appearances: 32
Final Fours: 12
National Championships: 5

Perhaps the easiest decision to make when compiling this list was putting Mike Krzyzewski at the top.

Coach K brings in yet another top-ranked recruiting class to a team that already boasts the odds-on favorite for National Player of the Year honors in junior guard Grayson Allen.

Krzyzewski has two national titles since 2010 and more NCAA Tournament victories than anyone in history. Oh, and his 1,043 Division I victories are more than any coach ever.

Maybe more impressive than the statistics though, is Krzyzewski’s success throughout a decade-plus of the “one-and-done” era in college basketball. His ability to not only adapt, but to thrive in the ever-changing world of college basketball has helped make him one of the game’s most successful and influential figures.

His Blue Devils will be heavily favored to win the ACC this year, and why shouldn’t they be? With Coach K at the helm, it’ll be business as usual in Durham as the Blue Devils hope to capture their sixth National Championship since 1991.
