What are the top 10 ACC basketball games that will be featured during conference play?

There is no question the ACC is the best conference in college basketball. Until the season starts and we all witness the excitement, enough just cannot be said about the depth and talent that the league possesses this season in particular. They have the possibility to get 10-to-11 teams into the NCAA Tournament.

TEN to ELEVEN. That’s old Big East territory.

The plethora of excellent rosters means that there are going to be some really good match-ups to look out for during conference play. Of course, there is always the Duke-UNC match-up that everyone looks forward too, and now that Louisville and Syracuse are in the ACC, a lot of fans get excited when both of those teams meet up.

But there are certainly other programs that are capable of providing us viewers with excitement and dynamic play.

Any dedicated college basketball fan loves watching a good battle between two tough teams. Last year, we got to witness some of those showdowns, like Duke versus Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament. Duke led by 16 points and the Fighting Irish roared back and ultimately won in overtime.

Or seeing a team like Georgia Tech show what their capable of, defeating the Virginia Cavaliers at home. The Yellow Jackets likely won’t be upsetting any big name teams this year with the loss of key players from last year, but another team or two will find a big upset to dish out.

The other thing to spotlight is watching big-time players going head-to-head. Players like Grayson Allen, Jaron Blossomgame, Michael Young, Tyler Lydon, London Perrantes and other are must-see television. Then you have the talented freshman core that is going to be so special this season – Dennis Smith Jr, Jayson Tatum, Jonathan Isaac, Harry Giles, etc.

So without further ado, here are the top-10 ACC games this season. We will limit it to just conference play.
