Honorable mentions

Duke at Virginia Tech – Dec. 31

Syracuse at UNC – Jan. 16

Virginia at NC State – Feb. 25

Duke at Miami – Feb. 25

You could put just about any Duke or Virginia game on this list because it seems like they get everyone’s best shot no matter who or where they are playing.

Duke’s first ACC game comes against the Hokies on New Year’s Eve in Blacksburg and I can guarantee you Buzz Williams’ team is looking to make a statement right off the bat.

Syracuse and UNC are going to be two of the best teams in the league, so this should be a good match-up to watch Tyler Lydon and Tyler Roberson going up against Justin Jackson and Isaiah Hicks.

North Carolina State will have a strong team and Dennis Smith Jr. versus Virginia’s ‘Pack-Line’ defense will be a treat to watch.

Duke has trouble playing at Miami. It’s no easy venue to compete at and they lost last year at the hands of Sheldon McClellan and Angel Rodriguez. Those guys are gone but Jim Larranaga has added a pair of five-star recruits to help replace their production.
