On Sunday, the 68 teams for the NCAA Bracket were released. Let’s take a look at what were the major takeaways from the field.

Before getting into what the committee told us about their process through the bracket reveal, here is a quick look at what the bracket looks like, if you haven’t seen it. The four one seeds are Villanova, Kansas, North Carolina, and Gonzaga.

Then, following the release of the match-ups, regions, and the complete bracket, the committee followed up with releasing their complete seed list, as shown below. The seed list shows where the teams ranked from 1-68, instead of just what seed a team received.

As always, Selection Sunday was a great time for most college basketball fans (excluding those who didn’t make the field) and for bracketologists everywhere. Yet, it also provides plenty of room for debate and arguments amongst people surrounding seeding. In reality, however, all that matters now is which teams show up to play over the next few weeks and which ones come out on top.

Still, as a reaction to what went down on Sunday night, here are my takeaways and things to think about.
