North Carolina is back in the Final Four after a heartbreaking loss in last year’s national championship game. Here are five reasons why the Tar Heels will be the last team standing at the end of March Madness.

The Final Four is here. The college basketball season is coming to an end, and we only have four teams still standing: South Carolina, Gonzaga, Oregon, and North Carolina. This is just like we all predicted, right?

North Carolina has been a consistent presence in the top 10 rankings all season long, but could never crack that top spot. Could the season end with the Tar Heels as the last team left standing?

North Carolina is two wins away from winning a title that they think was stolen from them last season. To paraphrase for people who have been living under a rock the entire year, UNC vs. Villanova in last year’s national title game finished with Kris Jenkins scoring at the buzzer and winning the ball game.

It was a rough ending for such a great season for the Heels. Now, this team is poised for redemption and playing with a massive chip on their shoulder. To put it simply, they are coming for what was taken from them last season.

Obviously, the Tar Heels have to worry about Oregon before they look forward to the national championship game, which could be a big enough distraction for them to lay an egg on Saturday night.

If the Tar Heels can focus, they can win it all. North Carolina has the tools to leave Phoenix as national champions, they just have to put it all together for 80 minutes.

Many fans and analysts believe that UNC has been the best team all season; we will find out this weekend if they are right. Here are five reasons why the North Carolina Tar Heels can win the national championship.
