5. Experience

The Tar Heels start two seniors and three juniors. Virtually everyone on this team has played in a Final Four before. They know what goes into the preparation, and how to handle the outside noise, as well as everything that comes along with playing on such a big stage.

They know how to win in tough games, and they have played in some of the highest level games this season. They have proven that this experience matters when they closed out their games against Arkansas in the second round of the tournament and again against Kentucky in the Elite Eight.

The Heels have played in the limelight and have participated in all three of the highest rated games this season. The pressure of the Final Four shouldn’t get to them like it may to a team that has yet to deal with anything like this before. This will be a huge edge for the Tar Heels as they prepare for their games this weekend.
