Ed Morrow and/or Michael Jacobson

Former School: Nebraska

Eligibility: Both Eligible in 2018-2019

Both Nebraska big men have been mentioned in conjunction with ISU in recent weeks. They would each would have to sit out next year, but could be solid grabs for the next two seasons after that.

Ed Morrow is listed at 6’7, 234-pounds, while Michael Jacobson is 6’9, 239-pounds. Both were sophomores this year and among the top five scorers for the Huskers. They averaged just over 17 points, 13 rebounds, and nearly two blocks per game combined. Morrow has maybe more upside and polish as a true inside grinder, but Jacobson has a little more height and is just the tiniest bit of a threat from deep; he has hit 18% of his threes in two years.

Either guy would be a quality inside complement to the future roster. Both are also Midwestern products; Morrow is from Chicago and Jacobson hails from Waukee, Iowa, where he starred just an hour away from Ames.  Intriguing possibilities are coming out of Lincoln.
