Cameron Johnson

Former School: Pittsburgh

Eligibility: Immediate for 2017-2018

The former Pitt wing is mildly underrated compared to some other names on the transfer market. He will have two seasons of eligibility left starting next season.

The 6’7, 210-pound Sophomore had a solid year for the Panthers. Johnson had the third-best scoring average at 11.9 points per contest on 48% shooting and 41% from deep. He was also a productive rebounder with 4.5 per game. He looks well-suited to Big 12 competition after three years battling ACC competition.

Reports from Twitter have Kentucky and Arizona as two of the leading contenders, but Iowa State could have dark horse status in this race. Johnson could excel in the Cyclones’ offense while not having the pressure of a blue blood program on top of things.
