1. Bruce Brown

Ja’Quan Newton may be the most important player on Miami’s roster but Bruce Brown is likely the best.

Brown averaged 11.8 points (third on the team), 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 46 percent from the field, 35 percent from beyond the arc and 74 percent from the free throw line. The 6’5″ combo guard from Boston, MA is a do-to-all player who can score, distribute, rebound, lead a break and defend numerous position. He is an eventual pro who will likely be even better now that he has a year of experience under his belt.

Brown will likely develop into an All-Conference performer in year two and will lead Miami to their third straight NCAA Tournament.
