18. Scott Padgett, Samford Bulldogs

Scott Padgett was a first round selection of the Utah Jazz in 1999. Padgett was an end of the bench player for much of his career. He finished his career averaging 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in eight years with Utah, Houston, New Jersey and Memphis.

Padgett has been an assistant coach at Kentucky, Manhattan, and Samford. The 40-year old was promoted to head coach by the Bulldogs after Bennie Seltzer was dismissed in 2014. Padgett had his best season this past campaign with the Bulldogs going 20-16 and reaching the second round of the CIT. He is 47-54 in three seasons.
