With the NBA Draft just under two months away, here is a look at the 10 biggest names in college basketball that have already decided to return for another season.

The lure of the NBA is sometimes too strong for college basketball players, as it would be for any potential professional athlete.

The potential fame and, more importantly, the money plays a huge role in a player’s decision to declare early. For many years, a decision to declare for the NBA Draft was all it took to end an athlete’s collegiate career.

This was good because it meant that the school could move on from the player and the player could focus on preparing themselves for the next level. This was bad because it meant that one small bit of bad advice or judgment could ruin someone’s life and bar them from returning to play college basketball.

Luckily, however, the NCAA has implemented a new rule that found a happy medium, in which early entries are allowed up to 10 days after the NBA Draft Combine to return to school – as long as they haven’t hired an agent.

With the new NCAA rules when it comes to the NBA Draft, many college players’ decisions whether or not to return to college for another season will be after the NBA Draft Combine. However, some players have weighed their options and decided to return to school for next season already.

Here are 10 of the biggest names that have already announced that they would play college basketball during the 2017-18 season.
