North Carolina

Landing Kevin Knox may be more important to North Carolina than any of the other schools. North Carolina has struggled (relatively speaking) in recruiting in recent years, not landing nearly as many five-star prospects as they are used to doing. To put that into more perspective, they haven’t landed a top-5 recruit since 2010 and haven’t had a one-and-done since 2007.

Many think that landing Knox would cast a ray of metaphorical sunshine ripping through the cloud of the academic scandal that looms over the Tar Heels. It would show that recruits no longer are deterred from the program because of it.

Kevin Knox would fill the role left by Justin Jackson, and he would have an immediate impact on the Tar Heel team. He is perfectly equipped for their system and would truly make them a national title contender.

If they were to bring back everyone else except for Jackson, there is no reason not to believe that this team can’t repeat. And Knox said he wants to play for a contender, so why not choose the Tar Heels?
