Malik Monk is clearly prepared for success at the next level, but which NBA team is the best fit for him?

The 2017 NBA Draft Is just over two months away, and everyone is wondering which team might select their favorite college players. One of these players is the Kentucky Wildcats’ Malik Monk.

Yet another of John Calipari’s talented one-and-dones, Monk will head to the 2017 NBA Draft as a lottery pick. One of the most explosive offensive players in all of college basketball, teams will be scrambling to add him to their rosters.

Monk averaged 19.8 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game throughout his lone season with the Wildcats. Most impressively, however, were the four games in which he scored more than 30 points, including the 47-point explosion against then-No. 4 North Carolina.

Whichever team drafts Monk will be getting a consistent scorer who has the potential to carry an offense game in and game out throughout a season – even as a rookie. The ease at which he scores has to be attractive to several lottery teams, as well as many teams that will have no shot at the 19-year-old.

He came into Lexington as a five-star recruit and has been a projected lottery selection since the season began. Many mock drafts have Monk being selected somewhere between No. 5 and No. 10, but on which teams would he best fit?

Here are the five NBA teams who would be the best fit for Malik Monk in the 2017 NBA Draft.
