4. No more turnovers (hopefully)

Indiana has had a massive turnover problem for years now. The excuse was that Indiana played fast, although for some reason other teams that play fast didn’t turn the ball over nearly as much as the Hoosiers. For measure, North Carolina, UCLA, and Kentucky all ranked in the top-10 in points per game and were all in the top-65 in turnovers per game.

In comparison, this past season IU ranked 333rd out of a possible 347, giving up the rock 15.2 times a game.

The Dayton Flyers, Archie Miller’s former team, turned the ball over 11.7 times a game, ranking them 56th nationally. Now, Indiana won’t just stop committing turnovers overnight, but, Archie Miller’s teams don’t typically turn it over at such a high volume, which should eventually translate for the Hoosiers.
