Lonzo Ball is a lock for the top-five of the NBA draft. What are the top landing spots for the talented freshman?

Lonzo Ball is destined to be a top-five pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Where he will land is not certain, but whatever team picks him will get an incredibly skilled point guard.

Lonzo Ball doesn’t come without baggage, and it’s in a form of something we haven’t really seen before. Obviously, I’m talking about the massive shadow his father casts over his every move.

Whether it’s the shoe deal or any of the outlandish quotes he has made over the past few months, it seems like you can’t go a week without reading about Lonzo Ball’s dad. I have heard from multiple analysts that his dad won’t impact his draft stock, and I hope that’s the case.

Regardless of what you think about his dad, don’t knock the kid for it. From everything we’ve seen and heard about him he’s a great teammate, an outstanding player, and someone every team could find a spot for on their roster.

Lonzo has an incredible skill set and helped carry UCLA to a 31-5 record this past season. Lonzo has been called the next Jason Kidd and Magic Johnson by more than one analyst, and, after watching him play, you can see why.

He makes his teammates better and looks like a proven winner. Baggage aside, Lonzo Ball has a bright future in the NBA for many years to come.

Here is a look at the top five landing spots for Lonzo Ball as he takes his talents to the NBA.
