Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr. has decided to sign with an agent and stay in the NBA draft.

Indiana Hoosiers’ guard James Blackmon Jr. has reportedly decided to stay in the NBA draft and sign with an agent, officially bringing his career in the cream and crimson to a close.

The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game during his Junior season.

Blackmon is best known for his scoring ability and silky smooth jump shot. He was regarded as one of the best shooters in the Big Ten, knocking down 42.3% from beyond the arc this past season.

Blackmon now joins fellow teammates OG Anunoby and Thomas Bryant as former Hoosiers to sign with agents and commit to a career professionally.

The last of the four Hoosiers who Indiana fans are waiting on to make a decision is guard Robert Johnson. Johnson joined his teammates in declaring for the NBA draft but still has yet to commit to signing with an agent.

Players have until May 24th to make a decision as to whether they want to return to school or not. Until then, Indiana fans must wait to find out if their point guard will return for his senior season.

One thing is for sure, the Indiana Hoosiers will look vastly different next year. They could potentially lose four starters and obviously already have a new coach and system.
