5. Dillon Brooks – Oregon

Stats: 16.1 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 2.7 APG
Draft Express Rank: No. 47 (Milwaukee Bucks)

Leading the Ducks to a Final Four bid and their second straight Elite Eight appearance, Brooks had a phenomenal junior campaign. The Pac-12 Player of the Year posted a team-high 16.1 points per game in just 25 minutes of floor action a contest. Translated to per 40 minutes statistics, Brooks averaged 25.5 points per outing. Additionally, the 6’7″ forward shot 49 percent from the field and over 40 percent from beyond the arc.

While Brooks is undoubtedly recognized as a remarkable shooter, scouts and analysts seemingly do not believe his game translates well to the next level. DraftExpress, conceivably the most prominent mock draft outlet, projects Brooks to fall to the Milwaukee Bucks with the No. 47 selection in the draft. Additionally, NBADraft.net, another renowned projection system, has Brooks drafted at No. 44.

It’s impossible to not include Brooks on this list, as he was declared the conference’s most outstanding player this season. However, if this list was exclusively based off NBA projections, Brooks would definitely be outside the top 5.
