Gary Trent Jr

Boy, are people excited to have Gary Trent Jr on campus. ESPN’s  No. 7 in the Top 100, Trent hopes to prove himself as a valuable replacement for last year’s most exciting Blue Devil, Jayson Tatum. At 6-5, 200-pounds, he is not quite as large as Tatum (6-8, 205) but should still be able to score at will on Guards when driving from the perimeter or stepping back to drain shots.

He comes from Apple Valley High School, the alma mater of Duke’s 2015 National Champion Tyus Jones, and he is great friends with fellow Duke signee Wendell Carter. Blue Devil fans look forward to seeing their chemistry pay dividends on the court.
