The 2017 NBA Draft is around a month away. Which five NBA teams would be the best fit for the Duke Blue Devils’ Frank Jackson?

Next to getting a clear starter in the opening 10 picks of the NBA Draft, one of the biggest keys to whether or not a draft is seen as successful is the ability of a team to discern late-draft gems from busts.

A player who many think will need a year or two to develop but should be a legitimate NBA player is the Duke Blue Devils’ Frank Jackson.

Jackson, a point guard out of Alpine, Utah, averaged just under 25 minutes per game last season, including 10.9 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game. While he split playing time on a talented Duke roster, he was one of the reasons that the team was able to navigate an extremely difficult schedule to finish with a 28-9 overall record as well as an ACC Tournament championship.

Expected to be an early second-round selection based on many mock drafts, Jackson could find himself selected much earlier. The 2017 NBA Draft is extremely heavy at the point guard position, and Jackson could easily be chosen in the mid-to-late first round by a team desperate for a point guard.  Oh, and the fact that he just turned 19 in May will give a lot of teams yet another reason to select him.

Here are the five NBA teams that would be the best fit for Duke’s Frank Jackson.
