De’Aaron Fox is quickly climbing mock draft boards, but what team needs to make the young former Kentucky point guard a priority?

The more and more that I watch De’Aaron Fox interview with the media, the more and more I can’t help but like him. I watched Kentucky play this year, but I hardly watched interviews with players. I was unaware how charming, well-spoken, genuine, confident, and real he is.

Usually when I see analysts interviewing a guy and gushing over his every word I can’t help but roll my eyes. Then there is Fox. He talks, and you listen. I can’t explain it but it makes you gravitate to him and honestly makes you root for the guy.

All that being said, there are a handful of teams that need to try and draft Fox. The Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Sacramento Kings all should draft him and would benefit greatly from making that decision.

The team that can’t miss out on him is the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are young, they have no identity, and they are starting fresh following the DeMarcus Cousins era.

There is no better player for them to draft than De’Aaron Fox. The Kings obviously need a point guard and he would fill that role for them immediately. Fox will also give the Kings an identity and would be the perfect face of the franchise.

There is no better player in this draft when it comes to speaking with the media than Fox. He would make the Kings likable off the court and would bring eyeballs to the team on the court.

It truly is a win-win scenario for the Kings and they need to pull the trigger on Fox if they want to make a huge move in the right direction for the franchise.
