Isaiah Briscoe, Kentucky Wildcats

Isaiah Briscoe is currently a borderline second-round draft choice. The 6’3″ point guard is ranked as the 80th best prospect by Draft Express.

Briscoe showed marked improvement from his freshman campaign last year. He averaged 12.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 2016-17. Briscoe improved his shooting percentage this past season, shooting 47.0% from the field and 28.8% from beyond the arc

Briscoe has a good NBA-type body. The issue for him is that he doesn’t really have a position as he is not a true point guard and is too small to play the off-guard position. While he is a good ball-handler, he is not a great passer or shooter.

Briscoe is already 21- years old so it would be hard to say another year of college basketball would significantly improve his draft stock. However, if he continued improving his outside shooting and cut down the turnovers there would be a chance that he would be able to guarantee himself a second round selection. Briscoe is a solid on-ball defender.
