LaVall Jordan

Having just finished up his first season as the head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Horizon League, LaVall Jordan would be another viable candidate. Jordan played at Butler from 1997-2001 and served as an assistant coach from 2004-2007. He also spent time as an assistant at Iowa and Michigan before taking the job at UWM.

At 38 years old, he is a reasonably young candidate and is just growing into his own as a coach. Despite a poor record of 11-24 during his first season, he was able to coach the Panthers to the Horizon League final as the 10th seed in the tournament. Jordan could come into the Butler program and work with the talent already on the team while starting his own recruiting class with the help of previously mentioned assistant coach Pedon.
