Devon Daniels, North Carolina State

Devon Daniels will sit out this upcoming basketball season as he transferred from Utah to North Carolina this spring.

Daniels, who was a three-to-four star recruit, showed some moxie last season for the Utes. But what was most impressive was his ability to put the ball in the basket. The 6’5″ guard averaged 9.9 points along with 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 2016-17. He shot 57.1% from the field, 40% from the three-point arc, and 70.8% from the charity stripe.

Daniels recorded one double-double and had 11 double digit scoring efforts. He poured in a career-high 24 points, on 10-of-13 shooting (3-of-3 three-pointers), against Washington on Feb. 11. Daniels is also a good defender.
