Kevin Huerter, Maryland Terrapins

Kevin Huerter was part of the young contingent that helped the Terrapins to the NCAA Tournament. The 6’7″ consensus four-star recruit played his best ball after Jan. 1.

Huerter scored in double figures in 10 of his final 19 games, which includes two-19 point games to close out Maryland’s season. He averaged 9.3 points along with 4.6 caroms and 2.7 assists for the year. Huerter, who only recorded one double-double, shot 42.0% from the floor as well as 37.1% from beyond the arc.

Huerter can possibly be a “3 and D” type guy for Team USA as he is a good defender, who knocked down two triples a game for Maryland.
