3. Brad Underwood, Illinois Fighting Illini

Brad Underwood got a late start to his head coaching career, but he has been one of the hottest coaching commodities, recently. The 53-year old is now coaching his third different program in three years. The coaching stops include Stephen F. Austin, Oklahoma State, and now Illinois.

Underwood is 109-27 in four years as a head coach, which includes a NCAA Tournament berth in each of the four years. He has a 2-4 record in those four Tournament trips.

Furthermore, Underwood has 20 or more wins in each of the four season. He directed Oklahoma State to a 20-13 record, one year after the Sooners finished the season eight games below .500 (12-20).
