5. Keith Dambrot, Duquesne Dukes

Keith Dambrot was a fantastic hire for Duquesne. Dambrot is coming over from Akron where he had a great 13-year run at Akron. He led the Zips to 12-20 win seasons and posted a 305-139 record overall. Akron made 10 postseason appearances under Dambrot, including three trips to the “Big Dance”.

Duquesne has struggled for years. The Dukes went 10-22 last year and has not had a winning season since 2011-12. Duquesne has one conference tournament title and five NCAA Tournament appearances in its history.
