4. Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have the 17th pick for the time being unless a trade is made. They have a plethora of big men (Mirza Teletovic, Greg Monroe, Thon Maker, and John Henson to name a few), but Collins would represent an asset with a much higher ceiling than most of them. The biggest competitor for center would be last season’s lottery pick, Thon Maker. The 10th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft has plenty of upside, but is a more raw project compared to Collins.

The former Bulldog would be a tremendous interior option for head coach Jason Kidd. If Kidd wanted, he could start both Collins and Maker up front with Khris Middleton, Malcom Brogdon and emerging superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. That lineup would give opposing teams nightmares as they tried to counter height and length. Collins would have to slip a bit to reach #17, but Milwaukee might be a scary-good landing spot.

The Bucks are a young and budding team right now that is preaching length and outstanding defensive play. Collins would add to that core and would create a frontcourt that would be nearly impossible to score on in the paint in a few years. The Bucks’ core is in great shape right now, minus the ACL injury to Jabari Parker, and adding another piece like Collins without having to trade would be remarkable.
