Golden State Warriors

Record in 2016-17: 67-15 (1st in the Western Conference)

Draft picks: 38th overall

Jonathan Givony Projections: No selections made

Lukas Harkins Projections: No selections made

Draft Outlook: Although the Golden State Warriors do not have a draft pick, it would not be a surprise to see them make a trade to get into the late second round if they have a player in mind. Yet, the team is obviously still in good shape for the future. They are the reigning champions and have won two of the last three years. With four stars on their roster and two top-5 players, the Warriors will once again be title favorites next season, regardless of any moves they make during the draft. Although an exciting night for many, the Warriors can stare at their rings and gloat all they want as the other teams look for future players to defeat this Warriors team. The question is not “who will the Warriors draft?”, but “who is going to make a move to beat the Warriors?”

#38 overall: C Jordan Bell, Oregon

A shot-blocking big who excelled at Oregon this last season, he could join the defending champions as an energy big man who would only play sparingly, barring a change in the rotation for the Warriors. Still, an interesting move to get into the draft to take Bell. Grade: B-.
