Milwaukee Bucks

Record in 2016-17: 42-40 (T-6th in the Eastern Conference)

Draft picks: 17th overall, 46th overall

Jonathan Givony Projections: Justin Patton (#17), George De Paula (#48)

Lukas Harkins Projections: Luke Kennard (#17), Cameron Oliver (#48)

Draft Outlook: Giannis Antetokounmpo has emerged onto the NBA landscape as a true superstar, and he automatically makes the Milwaukee Bucks a fun team to watch. Along with Giannis, Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, and Thon Maker make up a great core when everyone is healthy, not to mention possible Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon. In the first round, the Bucks will be looking to add either another shooter or a big man to play with Maker down the road. The Bucks have a history of taking high-risk, high-reward players (Giannis, Rashad Vaughn, Maker, etc.), but will that trend continue this year, or will they go with a best available player strategy as they try to move up the ranks in the Eastern Conference?

#17: PF DJ Wilson, Michigan

A strong two-way player with great length, the Bucks stuck to their drafting plan from the past few seasons. Wilson can shoot the basketball for his size and fits the mold of the Bucks future. He is still a raw prospect, but he makes sense for Milwaukee. He will likely find a rotation spot off the bench this upcoming season, and his length poses an interest threat in a few years. Grade: B+.

#46 overall: SG Sterling Brown, SMU

One of the best shooters in the draft, this is a logical selection by the Bucks. Milwaukee has several guards on the roster right now, but if Tony Snell does not return, Brown provides some stability. He should be able to come in and knock down threes immediately. Grade: A
