Washington Wizards

Record in 2016-17: 49-33 (4th in the Eastern Conference)

Draft picks: No selections made

Jonathan Givony Projections: Devin Robinson (#52)

Lukas Harkins Projections: Edmond Sumner (#52)

Draft Outlook: John Wall and Bradley Beal make up a stellar backcourt, and Otto Porter fits in extremely nicely on the wing. Yet, with Porter as a free agent likely to receive a massive contract, they will need to find a way to either retain him or find a suitable replacement. In addition, John Wall needs to have a better backup point guard, as the team struggles when he hits the bench, as was evident during the playoffs. The Wizards have one late-second round pick in waiting, and if they can use that on a wing or point guard, then the Wizards should be able to get them solid playing time right away and a chance to prove themselves as NBA players.
