The NBA Draft saw prospects realize their dreams, but which players are heading into the best situations for success and which the worst?

The NBA Draft is an important time for teams as they look for their future franchise pieces and what could happen in the next few years. There are several trades and surprises every single season, and every team looks to come out better than when the draft started. Often times, teams are labelled as “winners” or “losers” of the draft based on their individual hauls, but what about the players?

There are some situations that just make sense for a player, whether that be a great spot for them to learn and develop behind a veteran, an awesome culture that allows them to learn the ways of the NBA easier, or just a chance for them to get quality playing time right away. The situations that draft prospects are thrust into can change a player’s career from the very beginning, so it is important that they are the right fit for a team, not just the best player on the board.

With that being said, I took a look at which players are looking at the best chances for success and a positive reputation in their first few years in the league and which players have the worst. Obviously, fit isn’t everything and when it is all said and done, only the actual play on the court can dictate a player’s career, but from a general fan perspective, several factors can go into how a player is viewed across the league and its fans.
