Harry Giles, Sacramento Kings

Giles was selected with the 20th overall pick just one year removed from being projected as the best young player in America coming out of high school. In his injury-riddled career as a Blue Devil, Giles averaged just 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Simply put, the Kings have the most exciting Summer League roster of 2017. The big names include De’Aaron Fox, Dominique Hawkins, Justin Jackson, Buddy Hield, Skal Labissiere, Frank Mason and Malachi Richardson. Giles will need to explode out of the gate in order to gain playing time over the rest of the Kings’ rookie class, especially given all of the negative attention that has been on him since his second ACL tear in high school.

The Fox-Giles combination is still pretty exciting, though. De’Aaron Fox showcased his ability to penetrate from the top of the key and lob to larger offensive weapons all season long last year at Kentucky. Giles could revive his hype by playing alongside Fox if the two begin to bring out the best in one another.
