The LSU Tigers bring in one of the most talented, underrated recruiting classes of 2017. We broke it all down for you.

Last season, the LSU Tigers were one of the worst teams in the SEC.

Finishing No. 13 out of 14 teams in the conference, the Tigers went 10-21 overall and 2-16 in SEC play. It could be argued that they were one of the worst Power 5 teams in all of college basketball, and that – in addition to the failure to have success with Ben Simmons the season before – is why LSU decided to move on from Johnny Jones after a five-year stint with the former alum as the head coach.

Opening a new chapter for LSU basketball, the Tigers brought in one of the best young coaches in the country, Will Wade from the VCU Rams. A highly-touted coach from his time with the Chattanooga Mocs, Wade was great after taking over VCU from Shaka Smart and will be great in Baton Rouge.

This season, things are looking much brighter for the Tigers – although, results are probably not going to be immediate. A sneakily talented recruiting class combined with Wade’s coaching should set them on the path to success for years to come. The SEC is consistently getting better, and LSU made the right move in order to keep up with the growing talent and competitiveness conference wide.

However, who exactly are the Tigers getting out of the Class of 2017?

Here is a look at the Tigers’ phenomenal 2017 recruiting class.
