The bracket has been announced for the 2017 Hall of Fame Classic, and the teams that are participating are all more than capable of being some of the top teams in college basketball.

The 2017 Hall of Fame Classic will feature a showdown between the Creighton Bluejays, Wisconsin Badgers, Baylor Bears, and UCLA Bruins for a holiday tournament title on November 20-21.

While the 2017 2K Classic takes place a little bit before the Hall of Fame Classic from November 16-17, the field that features the Virginia Tech Hokies, Saint Louis Billikens, Washington Huskies, and Providence Friars is nowhere near as star-studded.

UCLA, Creighton, Baylor, and Wisconsin all have a legitimate shot at the 2018 NCAA Tournament, and, in fact, I expect them all to be either in the tournament or one of the final bubble teams with a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the NIT.

In the first game of the 2017 Hall of Fame Classic, Creighton and UCLA will face off in a Big East versus Pac-12 showdown on November 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPNU. This game will be followed by a Big 12 versus Big Ten match-up, as Baylor faces Wisconsin at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

The two winners will face off in the championship game on November 21 at 10:00 p.m. on ESPN2, while the losers will participate in a third-place game earlier in the night at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN3.

It’s hard to know what to expect from the 2017 Hall of Fame Classic due to so many participating teams losing top players for the 2017-18 season, but I think my prediction will be that Wisconsin wins over UCLA to take home the championship.
