Syracuse Basketball: Eric Devendorf and Donte Green lead Boeheim’s Army to TBT Elite Eight
Boeheim’s Army
Boeheim’s Army consists of 10 players that played at Syracuse, including nine players who finished their careers there. Seven-foot center Dashonte Riley is the lone player not to finish his career at SU as he transferred to Eastern Michigan after spending two years with the Orange — he took a medical redshirt his first year. Syracuse graduates Kelvin Belby and Ryan Blackwell serve as the team’s general manager and coach, respectively.
Eight of the players have professional playing experience. Greene and James Southerland are the only two players with NBA players. However, Trevor Cooney is currently a member of the Long Island Nets of the G-League while a few others are still playing overseas.
Devendorf and Triche are the only two players who have scored in double figures in each of the three games. Devendorf leads the way with 19 points a game while Triche is contributing 11.6 points along with seven rebounds. Rick Jackson leads the team with nine boards a game.
