LSU

Will Wade has something special going on down in Baton Rouge.

Sure, VCU fans will be mad at the way he left the program, but he is a great recruiter and an exceptional coach. My sister attended UTC when he coached there, and I used to watch his teams all the time. Every team he coaches plays far above their talent level, and recruits seem to meet their potential under his watch.

This could be a tempting choice for Robinson, as former No. 1 overall draft pick Ben Simmons attended the Tigers in a dreadful losing season and was still selected first. Not only that, but Robinson, hailing from Louisiana, could stay in his home state. The Tigers recruited him heavily before his questionable decision to go to the Hilltoppers, and he might find a new home with LSU.

If his intention is to sit out a year and play a year rather than go to the 2018 NBA Draft, then LSU is a great choice. If he wants to go sit somewhere, work on his game, and then enter the draft, he probably is better elsewhere.

Either way, good luck to Robinson as he makes an extremely difficult life decision.
