The 2017-18 college basketball season is approaching quickly, and the 2017 recruiting season is all but over. The SEC will be extremely competitive next season, and one of the reasons why is the incoming freshmen class.

The SEC is expected to bring in several talented recruits for the 2017-18 season and should be a fun conference to watch.

Here is a quick look at every SEC team and their top incoming recruit for the 2017-18 college basketball season:

Alabama

The Crimson Tide and Head Coach Avery Johnson are armed with potentially the best class in the SEC. Alabama should compete towards the top of the SEC if all of their freshmen contribute as much as they are expected to do so.

Collin Sexton: Collin is the gem of the class and will be an Alabama fan favorite player. Collin is a flashy, overall top 10 player in the country and the second best point guard in the country. He is The McDonalds All America Slam Dunk Contest winner, can shoot, pass, and just flat out score.

Collin averaged 28.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per game as a senior at Mableton (GA) High School. Avery Johnson was also able to land a high profile transfer in big man Daniel Giddens from Ohio State. Giddens is a big rim protector who was one of the highest ranked players in the country when he committed to Ohio State out of Oak Hill Academy. Daniel is from the same home town as Collin Sexton.
