PG Brad Davison – Osseo, MN

247Sports: ∗∗∗∗, #104      ESPN: ∗∗∗∗

An all-around great athlete, Brad Davison is a do-it-all basketball player. At 6’3″, he has plenty of size to play the point guard position and excels in all facets of the game. As a scorer, his aggressive attitude in getting to the basket makes him difficult to stop and he does a nice job finishing through traffic. In addition to his scoring, his size and athleticism allow him to be a very good rebounder at the point guard position and his ability to run in transition after securing a rebound can prove to be vital throughout games. Davison also played quarterback in high school, where he was able to show off he had vision both on the gridiron and on the court. He understands where to go with the basketball, when to attack, and when to dish off to a teammate with a better opportunity to score.

Unlike Reuvers, it seems as though Davison will have a substantial role right from the jump this season. After Jordan Hill decided to transfer, Davison will likely be the backup point guard to sophomore D’Mitrik Trice. Walk-on Walter McGrory is the other listed point guard on the roster, but it does not seem likely that he will take time away from this fringe top-100 recruit. As a freshman, Davison should be able to gain valuable experience in the Big Ten as he grows alongside the rest of this young Wisconsin team.
