Iowa Hawkeyes

Two years removed from losing all five of their starters, Iowa started slowly with an all new starting five.  However, they started to play much better towards the end of the year.  Some think Iowa overachieved last year given the youth on their roster, and that might be right. Iowa will be another year older this season and should finish in the middle of the conference.

C Luka Garza – Washington, DC

Rated ∗∗∗∗ and #119 by 247Sports

This center came out of high school as one of the most gifted big men in the class.  He has extensive range out beyond the three-point line.  Luka is not just a shooter; he is very gifted underneath the basket and is an elite finisher at the rim.  He is not a great shot blocker and can be exposed in the pick and roll offense with some ball screens, though.
