7. Louisville Cardinals

The Louisville Cardinals are in this spot as they secured two top-30 recruits. Brian Bowen, a consensus five-star recruit, leads the Cardinals’ five-player class. Bowen is a dynamic scorer who can put the ball in the hoop from anywhere on the floor. 6’11” power forward Malik Williams, the other top-30 recruit, has a high-ceiling, especially on the defensive end.

Four-star point guard Darius Perry will likely backup starter Quentin Snyder. Both 3/4-star recruits, Jordan Nwora and Lance Thomas will also likely see time this year for a thin Cardinals’ squad. Louisville is a team that typically is focused on solid defensive play and these recruits will need to buy into that system.
