DePaul Blue Demons

The Blue Demons and head coach Dave Leitao are trying to claw their way up from the Big East cellar.  DePaul has been a rebuilding program for the last few years.  DePaul does not have a nice on-campus arena and often times they play their games at an off-campus location.  That can hurt their recruiting, even though DePaul is in the center of the greater Chicago area.

Paul ReedPaul Reed is a wing who can score from all three areas on the court.  He is a solid shooter from distance, likes to play with a little mid-range game, and loves to fly high for dunks.  His offensive prowess and ability to score makes up for his deficiencies on the defensive side of the floor.  If he can show the ability to score for DePaul like he did in high school, he will be a nice addition to the Blue Demons and should be able to help them out right away.

Georgetown Hoyas

The Hoyas had a forgettable season last year.  They had one of their worst seasons in recent memory.  In the offseason, the Hoyas fired John Thompson III.  The Hoyas have hired NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing as the new head man.  Georgetown was riddled with transfers and de-commits in the offseason. Georgetown is also in the process of building their own arena, as the Hoyas currently share an arena with the Washington Wizards.  With all of these factors, Patrick Ewing will have his work cut out for him to bring Georgetown back to the perennial NCAA tournament team that they usually are.

Jamarko Pickett: A former Arkansas commitment. Jamarko is a versatile wing who is a solid shooter from distance and a great finisher at the rim.  He is a good passer on the wing and can protect the rim on the defensive side of the floor.  He is the type of player that Georgetown loves to have.  The Hoyas love to play through their wings and Jamarko has the potential to be the next great one to don the blue and gray.
