We took a brief look at the upcoming 2017 recruiting class in the Pac-12 and the best player for each team.

The Pac-12 conference is loaded with NBA talent and always seems to have some of the best teams in the country. Some say this conference is one of the deepest, along with the ACC, in the country.

The Pac-12 has been ruled of late by powerhouses Arizona and Oregon. Those teams are the class of the league and the Pac-12 will be better and deeper this year than it has in the last few years.  Teams like Stanford and Washington should be better and may have an outside shot at the NCAA Tournament.

Arizona State

Bobby Hurley and the Sun Devils should have a better year this year, than last year. Coach Hurley had a rebuilding job in front of him when he took over the job. Finishing No. 8 in the league last year, this is not what Hurley or the administration expects again. Coach Hurley has some nice recruits to help him win right away.

Kimani Lawrence- Kimani is made for the Pac-12. The Pac-12 has a lot of flashy teams with a lot of flashy players and Kimani fits that bill perfectly. He is an athletic point guard who looks to pass first. If he cant pass, he will pull up for the mid range shot, three pointer, or drive the lane and either lay it in or come with a highlight reel dunk. Overall, Kimani is an exciting player who should make an immediate impact on his team. Kimani should be at the forefront of the rebuild process for coach Hurley, and I’m sure coach Hurley will try to build around Kimani in the future.
