Key Reserves

One problem that led to the departure of the bench was that the starters took all of the playing time. Combine that with the issues with the coach and there was little chance of them staying. This group of reserves should have no problem getting playing time, as some are just as good, if not better, than the starters.

Jared Wilson-Frame

The 6’5″ guard is considered one of the junior college prospects in the country and can either start or play as an effective sixth man. He has a big frame at 230 pounds so his size will help cover some of the better guards in the conference.

Peace Ilegomah

The incredibly raw Nigerian choose Pitt over Duquesne and a host of other small schools. The hope is that be can come along slowly and contribute more over the years.

Terrell Brown

Since DeJuan Blair, Pitt has struggled mightily to produce productive bigs. At 6’10”, Brown is a three-star prospect who could be intriguing given his athleticism and will have opportunities to prove it this year.

Kameron Davis, Shamiel Stevenson, and Parker Stewart

These three guards all have similar sizes and will all have the chance to separate themselves from each other. Outside of Carr, the other guards on the roster will be leaving. The guy who makes the biggest jump will be alongside Carr as the backcourt of the future.
