Key Reserves

Last season Nevada had a short rotation, with the starters playing a ton of minutes. While having quality starters is great, having depth can offset an off night for any of the top players.

With so many new faces, guys knowing their role will be key for a smooth transition between the younger players looking for expanded roles and the transfers trying to make their own impact. Depending on how the season goes, these key reserves may make a case to start.

JR Cody Martin

The other Martin twin not only will have an impact alongside his brother but has a great chance to start. In 26 minutes two years ago, he supplied 6.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and 2.3 apg, showing his versatility for a big.

JR Elijah Foster

Foster started last season, averaging 12 a night before going down with an injury just seven games in. His presence will be a huge benefit with his athleticism and scoring capabilities. He could easily start again, depending on his practices against the Martin brothers.

SO Josh Hall

As a freshman, Hall ended his season strong, including 12 points in the conference tournament finals. The 6’6 guard/wing will more than likely be the guard of the future but needs to wait his turn beforehand.
