The Buffalo Bulls snagged a great three-star recruit from New York, as Jeenathan Williams committed to the school.

With 17 wins last season, the Buffalo Bulls were just a few wins away from earning a trip to one of the postseason tournaments. While winning the conference tournament is the only way to truly make the Big Dance, the Bulls are one of the more consistent programs in all of college basketball, as this is now their fourth straight winning season.

Attempting to keep that streak going, the Bulls have fought hard on the recruiting trail, picking up a commitment from Class of 2018’s Jeenathan Williams.

The 6’5, 190-pound shooting guard is rated as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports, as well as the No. 30 shooting guard in the country and No. 144 player overall. In addition to his rankings on 247 Sports, Williams is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 133 player nationally on Rivals.

Williams was highly sought after by programs from across the country, but the Rochester, NY native was most heavily recruited in the Northeast by teams like the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Rhode Island Rams, and Syracuse Orange.

The Bulls will be getting a fantastic player in Williams who will be able to score at will due to his size. The MAC is a great college basketball conference, but a 6’5 shooting guard could dominate smaller opponents in conference play.

Keep an eye on Buffalo moving forward, because they could be one of the better teams in the MAC for years to come.
