Ideal Championship Game: Notre Dame-Wichita State

This potential matchup between two top-25 teams would create the ideal championship game. Wichita State is a legitimate top-10 team who returns almost all of their team from last season. The Shockers are a very deep team, especially in the frontcourt, and will go nine or ten players deep. Standout forward Markis McDuffie will most likely miss the tournament, but star guard Landry Shamet will be in the lineup. Shamet and senior center Shaquille Morris are Wichita State’s two best healthy players and will draw extremely difficult defensive assignments.

Notre Dame is led by their PG, Matt Farrell, and potential All-American big man, Bonzie Colson. Farrell improved as much as any player in the country last season and has averaged 15.3ppg so far this season. Colson is also off to a strong start as he has scored 20.0ppg and grabbed 11.0rpg. All college basketball fans should pray for this championship matchup.

Both Shamet and Colson are contenders to win National Player of the Year and although they play different positions, watching them go head-to-head would be a lot of fun.
