Duke vs. St. Francis: College Basketball game preview, TV schedule
By Taylor Sturm
The Duke Blue Devils face off with the St. Francis Red Flash on Tuesday night, and it shouldn’t even be close.
TV Schedule: Tuesday, Dec. 5, 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU
Arena: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, North Carolina
The Duke Blue Devils have stormed into the 2017-18 college basketball season by winning their first 10 games and remaining undefeated despite already playing Michigan State and Florida.
The Blue Devils’ tough victories over solid Texas and Indiana teams have done nothing but make them even more dangerous, as they look to round out the non-conference portion of their schedule against a few clearly inferior opponents.
Their next unlucky opponents are a St. Francis Red Flash team that has four losses on the season, including a 17-point loss to Saint Mary’s and 12-point loss to Louisville. They do have three double-digit wins, but that means little to a team that only stands a chance of making it to the NCAA Tournament is winning their conference tournament.
The real question is by how much Duke will win this game, as their last few outings against weaker teams have finished a bit closer than they probably should have. The bench has struggled at times as of late, so this is the perfect opportunity for them to get back on track.
Watch for Grayson Allen and Marvin Bagley to do most of their damage in the first half, as it should be well out of reach by the start of the second.

I still expect them to get close to their season averages, however, so there’s no worry of them dropping their impressive stats due to a weaker opponent.
Prediction: Duke 95, St. Francis 68
