As the non-conference season enters its final week, where does each team stand in the Big Ten basketball conference power rankings?

This past week was a little bit of a disappointing week for the Big Ten as a whole. After having a very good week in the previous week, the Big Ten had numerous teams get upset while others got blown out by quality opponents.

Despite the disappointing week, Michigan State still remained at No. 2 in this week’s AP top-25 polls. The Spartans continue to look very impressive. Purdue continues to rise as well, as they moved up to the No. 14 spot in this week’s poll. The Boilers are riding an eight-game winning streak currently.

Two other teams received votes in this week’s polls as well. Minnesota and Michigan both picked up 1 vote in this week’s poll. Maryland may be knocking on the door to receive some votes as well.

All in all, the conference still must prove a lot in order to be considered at the top as far as premier conferences go for this season. The play of Big Ten teams so far has been very disappointing.

Based on last week’s action, here is where each team stacks up in this week’s power rankings.
