Was there a shake-up atop the Summit League basketball standings? Was South Dakota State unseated? Let’s find out in a fresh week of power rankings.

Another week, another Summit League power rankings. While the conference did not see any serious shake-ups, we continue to see the true colors of some teams. As Western Illinois continued to struggle, Fort Wayne recovered after a bumpy last few weeks. Plus, Oral Roberts and North Dakota State continue to proceed into mediocrity after promising Summit League starts.

Alas, we are still left with South Dakota and South Dakota State way out in front in league play. In a match-up of conference titans, the two met in Vermillion last night. Ultimately, the result of that game determined who was at the top of this week’s standings.

Either way, let’s get right into these rankings. These rankings take into account games through Jan. 24.
