Jemerrio Jones

As mentioned earlier, senior Jemerrio Jones is the Aggies leading rebounder, but also provides the Aggies with so much more. Jones is perhaps the best “dirty work” player in the country, leading the Aggies in rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

Jones is one of the hardest working players in the nation and is willing to do everything the Aggies need of him, even if he is not being asked to score. In fact, Jones has more games with double-digit rebounds (15) than games with double-digit scoring (11).

As many fans have pointed out, if you take scoring out of the equation, Jones may be the most valuable player in the WAC.

When March rolls around, Jones may need to step up a bit on the offensive end of the floor, but his defensive effort will continue to keep New Mexico State in a competitive position for the rest of the season.
